It has been a very busy and productive school year but it's time for the summer holidays! I will be on vacation for the month of July but feel free to email me in August, if needed.

Can you survive the Oregon trail?
Students learn English in a fun and interactive way with me. In this unit, they get to be a settler traveling on the dangerous Oregon Trail across the United States at around the time of the Gold Rush.

Be careful what choices you make, otherwise you might not make it all the way to Oregon!

Recently I've been working on some American history with my students. The Oregon trail -It was a path that settlers or pioneers (people immigrating to new or uncharted areas) took from the eastern half of the US, immigrating out west. They generally traveled in covered wagons and the journey was long and arduous.

We not only learn about American history and geography, but also about the wildlife and flora in North America.
