Who knew you could make so many math and language materials from pebbles ? Not me ! Not until this summer when I started writing on rocks . The more nature and the less plastic in children’s hands the better ! These activities have been so much fun 🤩 . Give them a try !

Flashing 📸 back to July ! These kiddos enjoyed 4-days of English immersion camp 😊 They had geography, zoology and botany lessons. They shopped at the farmer’s market and made cool summertime fruit popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, and fruit smoothies. We visited the art gallery and had a private tour by the artist. We went to the community garden for a savager hunt and a swing in the hammock. The children felted wool into flowers and twisted wire into artful fishes 🐠 and words . They read books, sang songs and learned poems.

We’re Going to the Beach 🏖️! Alphabet, Color and Number Jumping are just a few of the seriously 😉 fun activities that the children have participated in during English classes at Saint ROCH Preschool.

Learning about wool and the art of felting. Some of the older children turned their flowers into gifts for their mothers. Happy (French) Mother’s Day, no matter where you are.
