It’s grape harvest season in the Luberon. A bit early this year due to the heat waves we’ve had. That being said, more sun more flavor, 2026 is going to be a great vintage. Had so much fun with our class today working with the seasonal ingredients The Cooking School at La Belugue The Mirabelle Plum is dropping like crazy, and there is a lot you can do with this fruit. We also had a student that was a piano player in the house. Love welcoming people to La Belugue. -

For those that don’t know, in my younger years before La Belugue, I was traveling the world for my corporate work. When I founded La Belugue one of my mission statements was…”If I settle in this place I want the world to come to me.“ I am happy to say over the last 9 years this has happened and today we added another country to the list of visitors to La Belugue. Amazing family from Romania. Thank you for choosing La Belugue.

Sunshine kissed menu today at the cooking school As I always say you eat with your eyes first. Today’s class did an excellent job at plating. So much fun creating with this family.

The heat wave in Provence inspired a new menu today at the cooking school. Cucumber melon gaspacho, légumes farci and cold fruit tarts with crème pâtissière. And after class Lynne and I romped through the lavender fields like kids. Was a magical day at La Belugue.
