Leadership is not only about what happens in the spotlight.
It is also about the standards maintained when nobody is watching. The preparation before the meeting. The difficult conversation. The coaching that happens quietly. The decision to improve something that may never receive recognition.
In service, as in leadership, excellence is built long before it becomes visible.
