Un petit rappel qu'il reste quelques semaines à mon exposition personnelle !
Si vous êtes dans la région d'Antibes, je me ferai un plaisir de vous guider à travers ce site - il a reçu des critiques positives jusqu'à présent et constitue définitivement un sujet de conversation ! J'en ai même vendu quelques-uns !
Ce samedi 11 - je suis à la galerie de 15h00 à 19h00 et j'aimerais vous accueillir avec un verre ou deux a Transartcafé:-)

A quick reminder that my solo show has a couple of weeks left to run!
If you are in the area of Antibes, I will be happy to walk you through it - it has received positive reviews so far and is definitely a conversation starter! I have even sold a few!

I was nominated by my friend

that I thank, to present one of my paintings each day, for 10 days with the nomination of another artist to do the same.
Dix images, dix nominations.
This movement promotes creativity, passion and the love of what we do and to support creations.

Thanks to Viva, I can preview some of the artwork that I am showing at TransArt café, Antibes during April and May. Titled “Fond d’ecran” (Background in English), the show is curated by Frederic Voilley and Arielle Rometti who have selected some of my figurative and abstract landscape pieces to tell a story of the state we are in, now in 2024. I hope that some of you make it to the show in person – otherwise, enjoy the screen version.

Prompt 5 - SIREN.


It’s Wednesday - the second one of every month.
At 12.14 precisely, the town is blasted by a guttering wail that shatters the genteel calm of the wandering day. Faces upturn around tables - questioning with a shadow of alarm as buried memories surface…
One strung out minute of triggering siren…
At 12.15 precisely, the sucked silence explodes with the tinkling of glasses - ruby in the constant sun.

The first prompt is WOLF.

Night in the dark padded satin, paw padded forest floor of shade and glade, far up in the snow mountains -
treading lightly
threading carefully -
a wolf uncoils expectantly...
She has waited long for her prey
to break cover - seek dawn - and the day.

I have been following Beth for a couple of years now and have just finished another of her generous free courses on how to go about writing a book proposal. I love to write and I publish my poems on Medium if you are interested (link in bio) - but I am not an author! I am an artist. Yes, I include signs and snippets sometimes in my work () and my poems are written paintings - but consolidating my butterfly musings into a legible whole is beyond me.
This is why I check in with Beth every so often. Here is an author who just loves words and writing for its own sake and it’s a breath of clean air to connect through the ether with someone who gets it.
Of course, writing a book is a dream - and Beth guides novice and experienced writers alike through the process of achieving this with patience, wisdom and generosity.
Whatever stage you are at with your own book dream, let me highly recommend working with someone who has your back.
