We’re excited to be hosting Marianne Jongkind for a Three Day Masterclass in October.

Marianne will be teaching an intermediate to advanced Masterclass covering “Wirework Techniques.”

During this 3 Day Masterclass Marianne will show you how to create wire structures. The first project will be to create a wire frame boater with precision and ease. You will then move on to a mini top hat and a freeform wire structure of your choice.

There are numerous possibilities and variations for what you are able to achieve during this workshop and Marianne will help and guide you to achieve something relevant to you.

Places are limited to six students to ensure time for personal tuition. We now only have 3 places remaining for this Masterclass.

Making memories

Cristian created this beautiful silk painted fabric during the workshop with Ellen Bakker last week during the “Experimental Silk Painting” workshop. He’s planning on making a silk wrap and also hats.

It’s been a very inspiring week full of creative inspiration from our teacher who has shared some new techniques with us. If you would like to join us Ellen is returning in May 2027 for her third workshop with us in France.

This first technique is very simple but effective and adds drama and movement when curled
