👉 Fourth testimony: Mayowa ESAN 🇳🇬 Nigeria, promotion 2021/2023
"The degree obtained at IMT Mines Ales has been a very vital contributor to my current research in the UK, as I am currently exploring the impact of microplastics on human health- which covers a core area of Master DAMAGE- studying the environmental impact of pollutants and particles (micro and nano). I have also recently accomplished my NEBOSH IGC certificate while I am striving to secure a PhD in the environmental sector- covering the aspects of environmental pollutants and biomedical sciences. A Master's DAMAGE degree opens many opportunities in diverse fields. I am reaping from those benefits now and will reap much more in the days to come."

👉 Third testimony: Davidraj DEVARDJOU 🇮🇳 India, promotion 2021/2023
" My story begins in Puducherry, India. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a big dream to make a difference, I found myself drawn to France. The Master's program in Disaster Management and Environmental Impact (DAMAGE) at IMT Mines Alès caught my eye, promising deep knowledge and hands-on experience. Master DAMAGE opened my eyes to the many disasters, natural and man-made, that threaten our world. Interactive role-playing, mock scenarios, and guest lectures by industry experts like Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Total Energies instilled in me an invaluable appreciation for real-world applications. Witnessing how these organizations prepare, prevent, react, and respond to crises provided a practical edge to my theoretical understanding. Armed with this potent combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, I graduated with flying colors. Furthermore, my 6-month internship as a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer at Solvay Chemical Company, a SEVESO-protected site, allowed me to put my learnings into direct practice. The experience served as a testament to the program's effectiveness in preparing me for real-world challenges. Proudly said, I am the first graduate in my family, studying at the 180 years old prestigious institution Ecole des Mines d'Alès under professors like Madame Isabelle MAURIN and Mr. Gilles DUSSERRE was an honor. The DAMAGE program didn't just teach me skills; it gave me the confidence and strength to tackle global challenges in disaster management and environmental protection. A short welcome from your Alumni David DEVARADJOU,I wish all the best to my juniors / future Master DAMAGE students." 😊 Merci David 🙏

In France 🇫🇷, in early January, we celebrate the Epiphany by tasting the «cake of the Kings/ galette des Rois». There are several recipes for this galette. In the South of France, we have a brioche with candied fruit🍊🍒. Everywhere in France there is also a cake/ pie based on fine powder and puff pastry. In short .. it is very hard to choose!
And in these cakes, there is a “bean” (a small porcelain subject) that allows the person who finds it to become King or Queen … the time of the tasting 😉
This year: the Queen is Victoria👑, and the 2 kings are: Vamshi 👑 and Cibi👑 …
📣 Long live the Queen, Long live the Kings 🏰🎉 😆
