New at IBS of Provence: 24 top young footballers from Seychelles have joined our school this September.
Aged 12 to 14, they have been selected for their outstanding technical, sporting and academic abilities. With the support of FIFA and the Seychelles Football Federation (President Elvis Chetty, DTN Osama Haroun), they will follow a 4-year training programme in France until 2029.
Through this collaboration, IBS provides the high quality education, structured learning environment, and international academic support these young athletes need to thrive and reach their full potential. As most of them already speak English, French and Seychellois Creole, they will easily integrate into our bilingual environment.
Their daily schedule is intensive, combining four hours of academic classes with four hours of football training, complemented by Saturday morning lessons and weekend matches, while a dedicated team of appointed FIFA Guardians, led by Anthony Benchenafi and Kevin Serna, works alongside IBS staff to accompany and support them.
This project is aimed at the highest level: some of them will represent Seychelles at the U15 World Cup in Azerbaijan at the end of October 2026, and later at the African Cup of Nations.
