The Learning Centre

The Learning Centre TLC is a small private school located in Suva, Fiji. The school features Grades 1 to 8 with no more than 20 kids per class.

This is to maximise learning and promote greater interaction with the teacher and amongst the students. The school curriculum is predominantly NZ based and using materials from NZ schools, but it also utilises learning materials and resources from the local Fiji curriculum. This is especially so for the Grades 6-8, in preparation for high school transition - for those that will attend the Fiji public school system. Each term is based on a study theme and this theme is incorporated across all the subjects and learning journey for the term. The school is managed by a Board, that provides general oversight and strategic direction of the school. TLC is headed by a Head Teacher/Principal, supported by a School Administrator. Sports and physical activity is heavily promoted and we encourage students to participate in the various sports activities that the school has on offer - or has information to, outside of the school.
