Amid the bustle of the Nasinu Campus Academic Office today, Ema Ravuiwasa and her mother, Wini, waited to finalise Ema’s hostel enrolment. Having traveled from Wairiki on the "Garden Island" of Taveuni, the family reached a significant milestone this morning.

While Ema expressed excitement about the new semester, she admitted that adjusting to city life remains a fresh challenge. Her mother was visibly moved, sharing through tears how proud she is of her daughter’s journey. For Wini, seeing her daughter pursue a tertiary education is the fulfillment of a dream she once held for herself.

Now enrolled in the Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel Management, Ema is determined to excel and make her parents proud. Both parents accompanied their youngest daughter, Ema, to Nasinu Campus this morning to enrol their daughter for hostel accommodation.
