The Workforce Development and Training Unit of USP’s Pacific TAFE successfully delivered the public short course training on Risk Management on 10 September at the USP Statham Campus.
The training brought together participants from various organisations, providing an interactive platform to strengthen their understanding and application of effective risk management practices.
Participants gained practical skills and knowledge in:
🔹 Identifying and assessing organisational risks
🔹 Analysing risk likelihood, impact, and consequences
🔹 Developing effective risk mitigation and treatment strategies
🔹 Applying risk management frameworks and tools in the workplace
🔹 Monitoring, reviewing, and communicating risks for informed decision-making
The session incorporated practical activities, group work, presentations, and simulations, allowing participants to apply risk management concepts to real-world workplace scenarios. Participant feedback also provided valuable insights into the relevance and practical application of the training.
