Our visit to the State House coincides with our Topic Of Inquiry this week (week 2 of Term 4) - "Fiji and The Pacific" .
Learning about our head of state, his name, the work he does ,etc was a whole lot of new information for our little ones. Even practicing on the pronunciation of His excellency's name was rounds of repetition 🙂.
The children were able to personally meet with His excellency the President Ratu Wiliame and his wife Lady Filomena Katonivere. What a privilege we had to be able to take photos with them and get to shake their hands .
Vinaka vakalevu Sir and to the wonderful staff of the State house for accomodating us - we enjoyed the lovely refreshments that was prepared for us .
God bless our President and God bless Fiji 🇫🇯

STATE HOUSE VISIT - Thursday 12th October
It was a sudden moment of career path changes, when His excellency the President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere asked the children "Who wants to be president? ". Almost all of those little hands were raised up accompanied by the replies " Me sir "..🙂
What an encouragement and inspiration for parents and children from His excellency and a privilege for Early Childhood Education , to help in the nurture of our precious little ones to become future leaders .

World Ocean day 🌎

The children of Bright Little Ones along with a few other schools participated in the World Ocean day march through the main streets of Suva and to the Albert Park.
The Topic of Inquiry for that week was on "The Ocean " and how to take care of it.
