On behalf of the Administrators and the School Board of Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Memorial School, we wish to register our deepest appreciation to all the groups and individuals who contributed to the superb performance of our student athletes during the 2026 Edition of the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Finals (Coca Cola Games).
This year, we have seen an improvement in the number of medals won by our girls and boys in their respective divisions. Our girls achieved an outstanding 5th place finish with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals while our boys proudly achieved 15th place with 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
We would like to sincerely acknowledge and thank our dedicated Team Manager, Mr. Rakayalo, and our hardworking coaches:

Your commitment, sacrifice, and countless hours of preparation have greatly contributed to the success of our athletes.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our athletes and their families for the sacrifices made throughout the season. Your discipline, resilience, and support have made the school proud.
A special thank you goes to our RSVO and PTFA for providing the athletesβ uniforms, including the full set of tracksuits, vests, tights, T-shirts, and basketball shorts. The meals provided by the RSVO also boosted our athletes and for that we are forever thankful. Your support ensured that our athletes represented the school with pride and unity.
We also thank all teachers for taking responsibility during the athletics season by supervising classes for the team coaches while they trained students in the afternoon by providing worksheets and academic support for our athletes. This achievement belongs to all of us because everyone played a part in the success of the team.
Congratulations once again to our athletes, coaches, and supporters for a job well done. We look forward to next year as we continue to improve and strive for even greater achievements.

RSMS SCHOOL ORIENTATION & COMMENCEMENT β 2026
Please be informed that school will officially commence on Tuesday, 27th January 2026, at 8:00 a.m. All students from Year 9 to Year 13 are required to report to school on this day.
Orientation Schedule (with Parents)
Orientation is compulsory for all new and returning students and will be conducted as follows:
Tuesday, 27th January (8:30 a.m. β 10:30 a.m.)
Year 9 β Orientation at the Carpark (students with parents)
Year 10 β Orientation at the Computer Walkway (students with parents)
Wednesday, 28th January (8:30 a.m. β 10:30 a.m.)
Year 11 β Orientation with parents
Thursday, 29th January (8:30 a.m. β 10:30 a.m.)
Year 12 β Orientation with parents
Friday, 30th January (8:30 a.m. β 10:30 a.m.)
Year 13 β Orientation with parents
Important Notes
While a particular level is attending orientation, all other levels will continue with normal classes.
Students attending orientation will leave their classrooms for the session and return immediately after orientation.
Parents may leave once orientation concludes.
No student is allowed to leave school with their parents.
All students must bring their booklist and all required school materials. A kit list check will be done by the form teachers.
An umbrella is compulsory for all students and will form part of the kit check.
We sincerely hope that all parents and students will adhere strictly to these arrangements.
Please note:
All students must report to school by 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 27th January 2026, regardless of their scheduled orientation day. Day 1 will be followed on Tuesday.
