Last Saturday, Sacred Heart College proudly hosted its Staff and Awards Night 🌟

The evening was a meaningful occasion to recognise and appreciate the dedication, commitment, and hard work of our teachers throughout the year. Special acknowledgement was given to those who achieved outstanding pass rates in the external examinations, reflecting their perseverance and passion for student success 📚👏

It was a warm, enjoyable, and memorable event, thoughtfully organised by the school management as a gesture of gratitude to all staff. Such moments remind us of the strength of our community and the value of working together 🤝

This morning, we witnessed a powerful example of care, kindness, and true community spirit.

Due to the bus services being disrupted and roads closed for the funeral procession of the late President, many of our students faced difficulty getting to school. In response, a dedicated parent stepped in and went out of his way to ensure students arrived safely.

Inspector Seba Baleisuva made countless trips along the road, picking up students and dropping them off at school, all at his own time and expense, without expecting anything in return. His actions did not go unnoticed.

We were fortunate to capture a moment with some of the students alongside this remarkable individual, who also serves our wider community as a Police Inspector.

Sacred Heart College extends its heartfelt appreciation to Inspector Seba Baleisuva, proud father of Ben Baleisuva (Year 10 – 1003), for his generosity and unwavering support towards our students.

Your selfless effort reflects true leadership, compassion, and service. Acts like these strengthen our school community and set a powerful example for our young people.

Vinaka vakalevu for making a real difference today.
