I would like to share this success story to encourage parents to allow their sons to take part in sports.My son Augustine was part of the school's Hockey teams in 2015 and 2016.He was Headboy and Dux of Marist Brothers Primary in 2016.He joined the MBHS u16 Hockey team in 2017.In 2018 he captained the MBHS U16 team and scooped the National u16 school championships.He became a National rep in 2018 at 16 years old playing aginst the Australian country Team.In 2019 he was awarded a Hockey scholarship to Mount Roskill Grammar.We as parents should support our boys in everything that they do and encourage them to be the best that they can be. Rugby is a good game but it is not the only game .Through Hockey my son is now in Auckland and playing school and club hockey.At 16 years of age he is playing against men much older than him and with more experience.He loves the experience.Thank you Marist Brothers Primary for introducing him to Hockey. I would love to see more children learn and play Hockey.It is a wonderful game and enjoyed by both males and females.

Orientation for year 1s 2019 is on Thursday at 9 am. Those missing out will be deemed not interested. Please spread the word.
