📢 Expression of Interest (EOI): Development of CATD Strategic Plan
The Centre for Appropriate Technology Development (CATD) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified consultants or firms to lead the development of its next Strategic Plan.

🎯 Purpose of the Assignment:
CATD is seeking to establish a clear, forward-looking Strategic Plan that will guide its programmes, partnerships, and institutional growth over the next planning cycle.
🔍 Scope of Work:
The selected consultant will be expected to:
• Conduct a situational and institutional analysis
• Engage key stakeholders (Board, management, staff, partners)
• Review current programmes, performance, and operating environment
• Develop a results-based Strategic Plan with clear priorities, KPIs, and implementation framework
• Facilitate validation workshops and incorporate feedback
• Deliver a final, Board-ready Strategic Plan document

👤 Who Should Apply:
We are looking for professionals with:
• Proven experience in strategic planning (preferably in TVET, development, or public sector institutions)
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality strategic documents

🔍 Scope of Work:

* Review existing CATD Bylaws for relevance, clarity, and compliance with current legal and governance standards
* Recommend updates to strengthen governance, accountability, and operational effectiveness
* Ensure alignment with CATD’s strategic direction and stakeholder expectations
* Facilitate consultations with key stakeholders where necessary
* Deliver a revised set of Bylaws with clear, practical provisions

👤 Who Should Apply:
We are seeking professionals with:

* Proven experience in legal drafting, governance, or institutional policy review
* Strong understanding of non-profit or public sector governance frameworks
* Demonstrated ability to deliver similar assignments

TRADE TEST for 2025 Semester 2 cohort

Due to the school closure caused by the recent cyclone, kindly note that the Trade Test Refresher Course for the 2025 Semester 2 cohort will begin on Monday 13th April 2026.
Students who intend to board are requested to check in on Sunday 12th April 2026 at 4pm at CATD, Nadave.
