Great news! School will resume normal operations tomorrow, Wednesday, 17 June, following the Ministry of Educationβs latest advisory.
Our Fine Arts Program (Platform Activities) is proceeding exactly as scheduled. Here is a quick checklist for tomorrow morning:
β° Time: Program starts at 8:00 AM at the school.
π Attire: Students must wear their proper school uniform.
π± Lunch: Please pack a lunch for your child.
π§οΈ Weather Prep: Please pack a spare change of clothes in their bags due to the wet weather.
π° Fees: Reminder that the $40 fine arts fee is now due.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the final week of Term 2, we want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. We have an exciting and busy week ahead! Please take note of the important events and critical reminders below:
Fine Arts Program & Sports Events (Wednesday β Friday)
Our Fine Arts program runs from Wednesday to Friday this week.
β’ Fine Arts Fee: A reminder that the $40 fine arts fee is now due.
β’ Lunch Reminder: Please ensure your children bring their own packed lunch on both Wednesday and Thursday.
β’ Weather Notice: Due to the current wet weather, please pack a spare change of clothes for your child just in case they get wet.
Wednesday (Platform Activities):
o Attire: Students are required to come in their proper school uniform.
o Time: Program begins at 8:00 AM here at the school.
o Our students will be performing and showcasing their incredible talents! Parents are warmly welcome and highly encouraged to come, watch, and support your children.
Thursday (Track, Field & Sports Day):
o Attire: Students are required to wear their PE uniform.
o Venue: HFC Stadium & Gymnasium
o Transportation: The school will provide two buses. Buses will leave the school premises strictly at 5:30 AM to ensure we arrive by 8:00 AM.
o Schedule:
ο§ 8:00 AM β 12:00 PM: Track and field events at the HFC Stadium.
ο§ 12:00 PM β 4:00 PM: We will move across to the Gymnasium for volleyball, netball, futsal, and tag rugby.
o Return: Buses are scheduled to leave the stadium complex between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM to head back to the school.
Critical Reminder: Term 2 & Term 3 School Fees
Please be reminded that Term 2 and Term 3 fees are now due.
We have noticed that there is a large amount of outstanding fees that must be cleared. We rely on these timely payments to ensure the smooth running and operations of the school, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
According to our school policy, we will only order PACEs for students whose fees have been fully paid.
β’ Failure to clear full payment will result in your child having insufficient or no PACEs for the upcoming term.
β’ Please note that parents will bear full responsibility for any academic delays caused by unpaid fees.

Subject: URGENT: Cancellation of Friday's School Picnic Due to Severe Weather ππ¨
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please be advised that our school picnic scheduled for this Friday has been cancelled.
As shown in the official Fiji Government advisory in attachment below, a Strong Wind Warning (Bogiwalu) remains in force and is expected to impact parts of the Fiji Group through to Sunday. Because the warning highlights particular risks for coastal roads, exposed areas, and strong crosswinds, traveling to Deuba is unsafe for our students and staff.
βΉοΈ Key Information:
Friday Schedule: Friday will now be a regular school day. Please send your children to school bright and early at their usual time.
Fees & Refunds: For parents who have already sent in their picnic fees, we are happy to accommodate your preference. You can choose to either credit the amount toward Term 3 fees or receive a full cash refund.
Receipt Requirement: To process either option, please ensure you provide your original receipt to the office.

Following up on our weekly newsletter dated 07th June 2026 Please find the exact fee breakdowns and timing details below:
β° Picnic Schedule & Timings:
Morning Departure: The bus is scheduled to leave the school promptly at 8:00 AM this Friday. Please ensure your child arrives early so we can account for everyone and depart on time.
Afternoon Return: We will be leaving the picnic spot at 2:00 PM to head back to the school.
π° Picnic Fees & Breakdown:
RRLC to ILC Students: $15.00 total ($12.50 bus fare + $2.50 admission fee)
High School 1, High School 2, and Adults: $16.00 total ($12.50 bus fare + $3.50 admission fee)
π Important Reminders:
Mandatory Attendance: As noted in the news letter, it is mandatory for parents of students in the Reading Readiness & ABC Learning Center to accompany their children for the day.
Other parents are very welcome to join! Please remember that available seats on the transport will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on the adult fare listed above.
What to Pack: A packed lunch, a water bottle, a hat for sun protection, and a spare change of clothes.
Dress Code: Modest, appropriate, and comfortable attire for an outdoor school event.

As we enter Week 9 of Term 2, we are quickly approaching the end of another fantastic term. Please take note of the important updates and events scheduled for this week:
1. Monday Schedule (Tomorrow)
Please note that tomorrow, Monday, will be a full school day for all students. We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early to kickstart our week productively.
2. Honor Roll Ice Cream Party (Thursday)
To celebrate the dedication of our students, we will be hosting an Ice Cream Party this Thursday. This is a small gesture from the school to recognize and celebrate the hard work of our students who achieved βAβ and βBβ Honor Roll certificates. We love using these moments to motivate and encourage all of our students to keep pushing themselves and working hard!
3. School Picnic to Deuba (Friday)
We are excited to announce our school picnic to Deuba this Friday!
β’ Permission Slips & Fees: The permission slip, along with details regarding the admission fee, will be sent home with your child tomorrow.
β’ Reading Readiness & ABC Learning Center: It is mandatory for parents of students in these two centers to accompany their children for the day.
β’ Other Learning Centers: Parents from our other learning centers are very welcome to join us! Please note that available seats on the transport will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
