Bula everyone. My apology for not updating this page. It is the last school week of the year. Every single teacher deserves a break after 41 weeks of high blood pressure and sleepless night. Hats off to the teachers for the job well done this year. Now we waiting for our fate comes 2019. Our results will show our effort in the classroom this year. If we have done enough then we will get more than enough. If we sow a little then we will reap a little. As the bible says "we will reap what we sow."
Anyway, thank you teachers for the hardwork and may the grace and love of the almighty be with each and everyone. Merry Christmas n a blessed 2019.

Komo Day this week. To the education committee, we need to prepare the tertiary students allowance to be given this Saturday. Your suggestion please. Chairman.

We had a special meeting with usp tertiary students yesterday Tuesday 27/09. We discuss about the expectation from their parents as well as the vanua as we are monitoring their performance. Also I reminded them about their classes as it is a priority than anything else. We also discuss about their item during Komo day and the meeting to be held during the day. Bula everyone. Week 1 of term 3 is almost completed. This is a very important term as we prepared our children for the final examination. There are few reminders for this term:
1. Attached is the examination dates for us parents to know and be aware.
2. Keep reminding your children to attend classes as their fees have been paid by the government.
3. Please do supervise your children as they preparing for the coming exams.
4. Please make provision for your children to study at home and minimise on social gathering.
5. Be alert on your children's where about.
6. Spend maximum time with your children at home.
7. Be positive and stay focus.
8. Rendered the maximum support you can to your children.
9. Prioritise your children's education than anything else.
10. Be supportive and be a good parent.

All the best this term and may your children pass with flying colors. Good luck everyone and may the good Lord be with you always.

Bula vinaka everyone. Today I had a meeting with the Komo tertiary students attending usp and fnu. Most of them were having classes and they came later when the meeting was over. The meeting was attended by Laisa, Kotobalavu, Ledua from fnu and Ella Salusalu. We had a discussion on the outcome of the education committee meeting and the approval from the yavusa to assist them with pocket allowance. Also I reminded them of the important task they are in at the moment to complete their studies and get a job. They were happy with assistance from the yavusa and I also reminded them of the condition of the allowance. Its a give and take. They have to perform to continue to receive the allowance. It was a 40minutes meeting and I requested them to relay the message to the rest of the students. Our next meeting in October, during Komo day where they will also meet the education committee and the students at secondary level. Our vasus are also welcome to attend the meeting. To all komo tertiary students at usp, fnu, unifiji. I wish to remind us on the result of our request to the yavusa. the yavusa had agreed to provide the allowance of $50 per semester based on performance. therefore we need to meet again to list the names of all our students attending tertiary education.
