💙 Celebrating the Dads Who Make Every Day Special! 💙

This Father’s Day, our little learners at Lil Champs Nadi put their hearts and creativity into making special handmade cards for their dads.
More than just a card, each creation was an opportunity for our children to express gratitude, communicate their feelings, make meaningful connections, and celebrate the important people in their lives.

Through this simple and joyful experience, our children demonstrated the IB Learner Profile in action — becoming Caring as they thought about someone special, Communicators as they expressed their love and appreciation, and Reflective learners as they considered what makes their fathers important to them.
To all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, and father figures, Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Lil Champs Martintar Centre observed Girmit Day with a heartfelt tribute to the Indian labourers whose sacrifices and perseverance became part of Fiji’s foundation. 🇮🇳 🇫🇯

Our students enjoyed educational art activities and real-life demonstrations of the items and tools used during the Girmit era. These hands-on experiences allowed our young learners to connect with history in a meaningful and memorable way.

As we remember the journey of the Girmitiyas, we continue to teach our children the values of resilience, gratitude, and cultural pride.

Our students from Nadi Town Center participated in special art activities and viewed demonstrations featuring items and everyday tools used during the Girmit days. It was a beautiful opportunity for our young learners to understand the struggles and determination of the Indian labourers who came to Fiji many years ago.

Lil Champ proudly commemorated Girmit Day by honouring the courageous Girmitiyas who journeyed from India and helped shape the history of Fiji. 🇫🇯🇮🇳
