2026 Inter House Athletics Competition
Congratulations to Yellow House, our 2026 Inter House Athletics Competition winners, finishing with 4,270 points. Green House were our runners-up with 4,120 points, followed by Blue House in third place with 3,770 points and Red House in fourth place with 3,620 points.
The Inter House Athletics Competition was a wonderful celebration of participation, teamwork, perseverance and personal growth across our school community. We extend our sincere appreciation to all students, from our Early Childhood learners through to our Diploma students, who participated, volunteered and supported their respective houses throughout the day.
As an IB World School, we recognise the importance of nurturing balanced and holistic wellbeing. Sporting events such as our Inter House Athletics Competition provide students with opportunities to develop not only their physical skills and techniques, but also their confidence, resilience, communication, collaboration and sportspersonship. More importantly, they allow students to challenge themselves, put their skills to the test, celebrate their improvement and identify areas where they can continue to grow.
This was evident across all age groups, from our youngest learners demonstrating their zigzag running skills to our Primary Years students developing their confidence and technique through the hurdles. These moments remind us that success is not simply measured by which house finishes at the top, but by the willingness to participate, learn, improve and encourage others along the way.
We would also like to thank our staff who officiated and supported the competition throughout the day, our parents and families who came out to encourage our students, and our PTA for providing treats and refreshments. Your support and contribution helped make the day a memorable and meaningful experience for our students.
Congratulations to all four houses and, once again, a special congratulations to Yellow House on their 2026 victory. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who contributed to making the 2026 Inter House Athletics Competition a celebration of our students, their growth and our school community.
