PIVOT POINT FIJI – EXCITING HIGHLIGHTS! May was an incredible month of learning, creativity, and industry exposure for our students at Pivot Point Fiji! We believe that education goes beyond the classroom, and this month provided amazing opportunities for our students to learn directly from industry leaders, experience real-world events, and gain valuable insights into the beauty industry. 1. HAIRSTYLING WORKSHOP WITH L'ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL Our students had the privilege of attending an inspiring hairstyling workshop led by L'Oréal Professional educators Joel and Julia. The workshop showcased the latest international hair trends, innovative styling techniques, and professional salon practices currently shaping the beauty industry. 2. FIJI FASHION SHOW – HAIR & MAKEUP TEAM - What an exciting opportunity for our talented students to be part of one of Fiji's premier fashion events! Our Hair and Beauty students proudly assisted with hairstyling and makeup services for approximately 55 models participating in the Fiji Fashion Show. Working behind the scenes in a fast-paced fashion environment allowed students to experience the demands and excitement of the fashion industry firsthand. From creating runway-ready hairstyles to flawless makeup looks, our students demonstrated professionalism, teamwork, creativity, and adaptability under pressure. 3. PURE FIJI FACTORY TOUR(1st June tour) - Our students were also privileged to visit the Pure Fiji manufacturing facility, where they gained valuable insight into one of Fiji's most successful and internationally recognized beauty brands. The experience highlighted the importance of supporting locally made products and demonstrated how a Fijian brand can successfully compete in the global beauty market while making a positive social impact.
