We thank Almighty God for His guidance, strength, protection, and countless blessings throughout the competition season. Your hard work, discipline, commitment, and teamwork have brought great pride and honor to our school community. Though the journey was challenging, your determination and sportsmanship reflected true excellence and resilience.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our generous sponsors and supporters whose contributions, prayers, encouragement, and sacrifices made this achievement possible:

Methodist Church in Fiji, School Management Board, Ministry of Education, Coaches, C.K. JOHN WESLEY DAY CELEBRATION MESSAGE & SPEECH – 2026

Theme: “Spreading Scriptural Holiness Across the Land”
(Based on John Wesley’s mission and vision)

Good morning/afternoon/evening distinguished guests, ministers, church leaders, members of the congregation, young people, and friends in Christ.

Grace and peace to you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Today, we gather with gratitude and joy to celebrate John Wesley Day 2026 — a time to remember the life, ministry, sacrifice, and spiritual legacy of John Wesley, whose passion for God transformed countless lives and helped ignite a revival that still impacts the world today.

John Wesley once said, “The world is my parish.”
These words remind us that the Gospel is not confined within church walls, but is meant to reach every village, every community, every family, and every heart.

As we reflect on Wesley’s ministry, we are reminded of his unwavering commitment to prayer, holiness, discipleship, compassion, and evangelism. He preached in fields, marketplaces, homes, and churches because he believed every soul mattered to God.

The Word of God says in:

Matthew 28:19–20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”

This Great Commission was central to Wesley’s mission. He challenged believers not only to attend church, but to live transformed lives through faith and holy living.

Another scripture that reflects Wesley’s heart is:

1 Timothy 4:12
“Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Wesley believed Christianity was practical. True faith must be visible in our actions — in how we love others, serve the poor, forgive one another, and seek justice and peace.

Today, our world continues to face many challenges — division, violence, poverty, moral decline, and spiritual emptiness. Yet the message of Christ remains our hope. Wesley’s life reminds us that revival begins when ordinary people surrender themselves completely to God.

As Methodists and followers of Christ, we are called to continue this mission:

To preach the Gospel boldly,

To nurture young people faithfully,

To care for the vulnerable compassionately,

And to live lives of holiness and integrity.

The Bible says in:

Micah 6:8
“What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

This verse beautifully reflects the spirit of Methodist ministry and Christian discipleship.

As we celebrate this special day in 2026, may we renew our commitment to God’s calling. Let us not simply admire Wesley’s legacy, but continue it with courage, humility, and faithfulness.

May our churches become places of prayer and transformation.
May our families become centres of love and faith.
May our youth rise with passion for Christ.
And may our communities experience the light of God through our witness.

I leave you with this encouraging scripture:

Galatians 6:9
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

May God strengthen us to remain faithful in His service.

Happy John Wesley Day Celebration 2026 to you all.

May God bless you richly, and may the legacy of faith continue for generations to come.

Thank you.

and

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

May every student enter Term 2 with confidence, discipline, respect, and a spirit of excellence. Let us work together to make this term productive, meaningful, and successful.

Wishing all our students, parents, and staff a blessed and rewarding Term 2. Welcome back and may God continue to guide and strengthen us all.
