🇪🇸 Seville, incoma, held yesterday the in the Pedagogy Faculty of the Universidad de Sevilla

📣93 people from , , and students that are finishing to be professors were in the event! It was great to spread and our among them to encourage them to be part of the project even when it came to the end,, .

🥳It was an enthusiastic and dynamic event, check the pictures!

📊 According to an Impact Study released in 2019, about 1️⃣ in every 5️⃣ students that completed an mobility period reported at least one type of disadvantaged situations.

🔎 And of these, only 1% reported having a disability (including mental, intellectual, cognitive or learning impairments) and 2% reported educational difficulties (such as learning difficulties).

🤔 What does this mean for young Europeans with special needs?

🙅 Overall, students with special needs are absent from mobility exchanges and are less often beneficiaries of transnational opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme, which may hinder their employability and professional development.

💪 Let’s change that together and make education more inclusive for all! Through , we are working towards empowering Higher Education Institutions and teaching staff to better support students with learning disorders.

Laurea-Ammattikorkeakoulu on mukana Tools for Inclusive Education -hankkeessa (ToFIE) - Osallistavat opetus- ja oppimismenetelmät korkeakoulussa. Sen tarkoituksena on koota käsikirja ja opetusmateriaalia helpottaman opettajan ja ohjaajan työtä: tunnistaa aikuisten oppimisvaikeuksia ja tarjota heille vaihtoehtoisia opiskelumenetelmiä.
