Upper secondary school students in Turku challenge everyone to eat the Baltic Sea clean
Turku Upper Secondary School challenges schools in particular to eat the Baltic Sea clean on Baltic Sea Day 27 August 2020. The challenge was born out of the desire to work even harder for the wellbeing of the Baltic Sea and the Archipelago Sea.

This week the second CIVITAS ECCENTRIC PMG meeting was organised in Turku including a workshop on Mobility as as Service (MaaS).
The cities of Madrid, Munich, Ruse, Stockholm and Turku were joined by representatives from the city of Helsinki and the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications. The workshop concluded with a refreshing winter bicycling experience on a fatbike! The next day, cities saw Turku's living lab (Kupittaa) from a beautiful rooftop terrace.

Maailman meriin päätyy muovijätettä samaan tahtiin kuin jos meriin kipattaisiin jäteautollinen joka minuutti, kertoo tuore raportti. Muovijätteen määrä ylittää kalojen määrän lähivuosikymmeninä, todennäköisesti nopeamminkin, sillä muovin määrä kasvaa, kun taas kalakannat heikkenevät.

The project Baltic Urban Lab is being kicked off in Turku!
