Sea and Maritime Studies is one of the six thematic entities in the strategy of the University of Turku.

Turun yliopiston Brahea-keskuksen Merenkulkualan koulutus- ja tutkimuskeskuksessa (MKK) tehdään merisektorin tutkimusta, toteutetaan T&K-hankkeita ja järjestetään alan täydennyskoulutusta ja seminaareja. We at the Brahea Centre, Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS) focus on maritime related research and development projects. We offer research services, further education and conferences.
