Save the date!

You are all warmly welcome to meet Dr. Blanka Babicka (University of Olomouc, Czechia), who is visiting the Languages Unit on 17-18 June. In an informal seminar on Wed, June 17, at 13:15-14:45 (Pinni B2033), she will present English and German teacher education at her home institution, and short-term student mobility.

In the same seminar, Elina Vasu (Languages Unit) will present her current research on teaching L2 oral skills pedagogy to future teachers.

In addition, all participants are welcome to join a discussion on language/teacher education in their respective contexts, and their research.

The marathon reading of Edmund Spenser’s 'The Faerie Queene' starts tomorrow!

The marathon will take place on 22-24 May, followed by a one-day seminar on 26 May.

You are welcome to attend the introductory lectures on Friday morning even if you haven’t signed up for the marathon reading itself:
