We’re happy to share that our new website has been launched! 🤩

During this year, we have refreshed Sunshine’s visual identity while keeping the familiar and recognisable elements that make Sunshine unique. Our logo and colour palette have been refined, and our well-known fox and owl characters have been given a more modern appearance. Alongside them, an elephant now joins the Sunshine family as a new character.

The updated look reflects Sunshine’s core values: Joy, Quality and Togetherness, which guide our everyday work with children, families and each other. Same Sunshine, refreshed look. 💙

Welcome to visit our new daycare centre Sunshine Hervantajärvi! 🌞

This August, we opened our doors to families, and now we'd love to welcome you to our Open House event. During the visit, you'll have the opportunity to see new facilities, learn more about our approach to early childhood education, and ask any questions you may have about daycare.

Next week, we are opening the doors of our new daycare in Hervantajärvi. 💙

On Monday, August 10, we will welcome the first children to Sunshine Hervantajärvi. The daycare provides early childhood education in English and Finnish, giving children a strong foundation for language learning from an early age.

The new centre has been designed specifically for early childhood education. Every space has been designed to promote calmness and functionality. Groups have their own entrances to make arrivals and departures calmer and more comfortable.

⭐ This week, our team has been preparing the new centre and getting everything ready for Monday. We also welcomed families to visit the daycare centre to explore new facilities and meet the team. We are excited to begin the new season and welcome our very first Sunshine families to Hervantajärvi! 🌞

The weather was perfect on Wednesday for a trip to Pikku Kakkonen park with our Swans group ☀️

We can practise lots of skills with sensory and loose parts play including fine motor (manipulation of small objects & hand-coordination) , sensory regulation (therapeutic input from handling materials like sand, rice or natural items), cognitive development (scientific enquiry and critical thinking) and social and language when playing in groups (collaboration, negotiation, and communication).

Sunshine Hervantajärvi opens in August 2026! ☀️

Our new early childhood education unit in Tampere will welcome children aged 9 months to 6 years, offering high-quality education in both English and Finnish.
