📍NEXT-UP: Navigating the Next Normal – Innovative Approaches to Enhancing Youth’s Education–Employment Transitions in Post-COVID-19 Europe.

📍The Next-UP Living Lab, coordinated by Tampere University, serves as a mediating space for collaborative innovation. Through interactive workshops (e.g., World Café, Foresight Game, Policy Co-design), it facilitates dialogue among youth, educators and career services, employers and HR professionals, policy-makers and public officials, and youth-focused NGOs.

Excited to announce the launch of our Horizon Europe Project, led by the Principal Investigator Dr. Yuzhuo Cai—NEXT-UP: Navigating the Next Normal: Innovative Approaches to Enhancing Youth’s Education-Employment Transitions in Post-COVID-19 Europe .
This project brings together 11 outstanding partners from 9 European countries, united by a shared commitment to addressing this crucial and timely issue.

Good news no. 2! It took us a year to prepare the proposal, 3 onsite meetings with 10 partners and countless online meetings and email exchanges. And we finally got it funded ... the Horizon Europe project!

The NEXT-UP project is a transformative initiative aimed at exploring and forecasting the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on youth transitions from education to employment. The project, coordinated by Dr. Yuzhuo Cai, will span 3.5 years and involve a consortium of prominent academic and NGO partners from nine EU countries.
