After working on this for 28 days almost non-stop and every day, it's FINALLY READY FOR RELEASE:

There was no tool like it out there, so I made it myself.

With high hopes that it can support you in picking up the guitar every day and staying motivated in the long run.

It's completely free forever for everyone who is a part of it ( = holds an account) in the starting stages.

Quick Tutorial:

To get started, click on Start Training and practice for 30 minutes. This will increase your streak.

Next: Create a new item, one for each thing you just practiced.

Use the BPM Mode if you know how to measure with a metronome and select the most fitting note value.

Use Percentage if you're practicing songs that have an original speed and you want to track how close you are to the original speed.

Use the Timer if you are just starting out and you just want to track how much time it takes you to play through small pieces.

Next after Tracking:

Visit your statistics session by clicking on Track Existing Item and View Stats!

You will also find everything that you tracked today and you can select what you already tracked, to add more values later, to see your progress over time!

In the Stats Screen you can see how many songs you have ever mastered up to 100 %, you can see your highscore with all BPM trackings you have ever done - the Guitaristy Score

And you can see your highest top speed in Notes Per Minute, ever recorded.

It also shows your practice streak here!

So start today, you can also check it out without creating an account as a Guest, but I highly recommend just creating your free account, so that everything that will ever happen in that app will remain 100% freely accessible for you!

Which brings the question...

Why Guitar TRAINING instead of Guitar LESSONS?

Guitarists usually don't struggle with *knowing* stuff and learning information.

What they DO struggle with though is the application of that information.

Everybody knows at some point what the C major scale is.

But can you play it on one string up and down the neck?

Can you move it into different keys?

Can you tell the chords that belong to it?

Can you play these chords in different voicings?

Can you play a familiar melody in different positions?

That's just a handful of questions I could ask you.

All of these abilities are basic and essential for every style of guitar playing.

And all of these abilities require TRAINING, with different contexts, exposed to different situations for flexibility, in different variations for security.

So that you don't blank out when it counts.
