After two wonderful years, this is my final post as Social Media Ambassador for University of Lapland.

Studying in Finland as an international student has been such a meaningful experience for me.
What I really appreciate is that studying here also gave me the chance to go on exchange in another country. It made me realize that university is not only about classes — it’s also about seeing different cultures, meeting new people, and learning how to adapt to new environments.
Living in Finland taught me independence and a different way of thinking. Going on exchange gave me another perspective and made the whole journey even more memorable.

In May we have a celebration day that many people, including students, are waiting for. Vappu is nationally celebrated day during which students can celebrate their hard work. I hope all of you have a nice Vappu this year or soon.☀️🎓

We’ve seen an increase in fake websites and social media accounts claiming to be “Finnish universities” — even though these institutions do not exist.
For example, no such higher education institutions as "Kestora College", "Kestora University" or "Penkka University" have any legal existence or authorisation in Finland. We strongly advise you to regard their website and social media advertisements with extreme caution.
✅ Finland has 35 officially recognised universities and universities of applied sciences that offer 600+ English-taught bachelor’s & master’s programmes.
