Talo (Finnish for House) is a different kind of a working environment and a two storey high log home for three creative companies in Rovaniemi: Aku Meriläinen, Flatlight Films and Tahkokallio Design+. The way we work at Talo is all about interaction and breaking the boundaries of what we can and how we think. We want to share the emerging visions and the soul of the community with others as well:
Talo - Rovaniemi Residency for Creative People starts in March 2012. The residency offers a possibility to work for one creative person, professional or student, at a time. In addition to enjoyable atmosphere and great people we want to to offer the guest a change to look at the North from a different perspective. Talo on kaksikerroksinen hirsitalo ja erilainen työskentely-ympäristö Kemijoen rantatörmällä. Siellä toimivat kolme rovaniemeläistä luovan alan yritystä: Aku Meriläinen, Flatlight Films ja Tahkokallio Design+. Talolla työskennellään aktiivisesti vuorovaikuttaen, omia osaamisen ja ajattelun rajoja rikkoen. Yhteisön henki, rajapintojen kohtaaminen ja uudet näkemykset halutaan jakaa myös muiden kanssa; Rovaniemen luovien alojen residenssi Talo käynnistyy maaliskuussa 2012. Residenssi tarjoaa työskentelymahdollisuuden yhdelle luovan alan suomalaiselle tai kansainväliselle osaajalle kerrallaan. Työpöytäpaikan, viihtyisän ympäristön ja mahtavan yhteisön lisäksi vieraalle halutaan tarjota mahdollisuus tarkastella pohjoista ja Lappia erilaisesta näkökulmasta. Facebook/ admins:
