Last weekend's competition simulation event is now over and this week our journey towards FS Alpe Adria begins. 🏎️💜

We trained for both dynamic and static events. 📚

Based on the tests, we are improving a few things and expect good results from the competition. 📈🏆

Yesterday we had a good track day!

Even though at times it rained hevily and rest of the time we were baking in the sunshine.

Everyone had slept too little, but our sense of community and humor powered us through it!

Now we start to get ready for next weekends for our own race simulation event!

Imagine your name on the livery of our formula, racing on iconic F1 tracks across Central Europe. Support FSO’s newest project and be part of building our team’s first hybrid vehicle. 🏎️ ⚡️⛽️

Transitioning to a hybrid system is a tactical decision for our team, as internal combustion and hybrid vehicles compete in the same class. Strengthening our expertise in electrical engineering is also a key development area for the future.

Developing a new concept for a race car is a major leap for our team. That is why Formula Student Oulu ry is now seeking financial support via small-scale fundraising, permission number RA/2026/220. The funding will be used to acquire the critical components for the manufacturing of our car. This fundraising is valid until 15.5.2026 and has been authorized by the Oulu Police Department.

Additionally, your support has a wider impact. We are not just developing a race car, but rather responding to the global demand of experts. Formula Student shapes our members into the top experts of the future, ready to solve challenges in transport electrification, energy efficiency and engineering in general.

As a public thank you for donations minimum of 10 €, we are making a Finnish flag-style design on our car’s rear wing livery, made from the donors’ names. You can also donate your chosen amount without your name being displayed on our car.

⚡️ By donating €10 or more via MobilePay, you agree to have your first name featured as part of our 2026 car’s livery design. If you wish to donate via MobilePay without having your name displayed, please contact our team directly.

⚡️ By donating 10€ or more via bank transfer and writing your first name as a message, you agree to have your first name featured as part of our 2026 car’s livery design. If you wish to donate via bank transfer without having your name displayed, please use “noname” as your name for the message.
