As a part of the ECOEL project, cellulose researchers of our unit visited Nokia's Home of Radio Campus in June!

The visit included an introduction to the production of base stations in addition to condition and fault testing. The visit was led by Riikka Juhola, a member of the ECOEL project steering group.

🌞Last week we had our annual Summer Day 🌞

This year Somayeh Marvasti was awarded the Mina Ghane prize for acting selflessly and in good faith for the good of the research unit during the past year. The Mina Ghane prize is awarded every year in our unit to honor our doctoral researcher Mina Ghane who passed away in 2023.

Researchers from the ECOEL project visited Elcoflex in Kempele last week!

The visit was to learn about the production of printable flexible RFID antennas, manufacturing techniques and challenges encountered in the products. The visit was led by Timo Peltoniemi, a member of the ECOEL project steering group.
