Today I am very happy to share an important milestone. After many months of discussions and preparations, WICTU4 has now been officially approved again as an LCIF project.

This is a significant step forward – especially for all Lions, clubs and our national coordinators who have patiently waited and hoped for this cooperation to continue. Now we can finally move ahead together with full strength.

My warm thanks go to the Lions leaders who have worked tirelessly to help make this possible, including PIP Gudrun Yngvadottir, along with several other dedicated leaders who have supported the process throughout.

We now continue our work for Ukraine – coordinated, transparent and with the same determination as always.

WICTU4 continues. The help continues. The hope continues.

A heartfelt thank you to all Lions clubs and supporters who made WICTU3 possible.

Together, we brought warmth and safety to thousands of Ukrainian families through the stoves delivered this year. Your dedication and solidarity have made a real difference in people’s lives.

As we look ahead, we are preparing WICTU4, to be launched in early January. The needs in Ukraine continue to evolve, and so will our response. Whether the next step becomes generators, educational support, or another form of critical aid, we hope for your continued support and partnership.

When Lions unite, hope becomes action — and action changes lives.
