The English Kindergarten of Kuopio

We have had a lovely start to our new year😊 we have visited the park, played group games and started working on our new Enkku book💕

As another wonderful kindergarten year comes to an end, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our students, volunteers, families and collaborators. Your support, kindness, and cooperation have played such an important role in our kindergarten life and have helped create meaningful experiences and happy memories for our children. We are truly grateful for everything you have contributed throughout the year. We wish you a joyful summer holiday filled with happiness, relaxation, and special moments with loved ones 💛

On Friday the lions and turtles went on their big trip to Rauhalahti. We had an amazing time. There were hobby horse olympics, wall climbing and an obstacle courses in the morning. In the afternoon the groups split with a guided forest walk for the lions and an afternoon at spa for the Turtles. What a fabulous day out!

Summer is almost here so we are spending more and more time outdoors, enjoying arts and crafts, and P.E. time 🌻 We have also celebrated Mothers’ day and Spring party together with our families ❤️

Turtles had some science bubble fun today at enkku after our lovely mother's day coffee morning💓

April is full of spring party rehearsals, arts and crafts (hama beads being the current hit), Easter magic and story times ☀️🌻

This fun Friday Turtles were making dens, we have also started to make decorations for our upcoming spring party☀️

Lions had a wonderful opportunity to visit Kuopio Theatre and explore the world behind the scenes 🎭
The children learned about stage design, costumes, and all the magic that happens backstage. They were curious, amazed, and full of questions!

Today the Turtles had their own museum. The children had brought in many interesting old things to look at. The children enjoyed telling the stories about the pieces they brought in, they even got to try some of the things out like a coffee grinder and the walkman. It was lovely to see so many of our parents enjoying our museum this morning😊
