Luontotaideretki ikäihmisille Kopparnäsissä!

Tervetuloa kokemaan luonnon, taiteen ja yhdessäolon ainutlaatuinen yhdistelmä Siuntion merellisissä maisemissa!

Luontotaideretkellä tutustutaan Kopparnäsin luontoon rauhalliseen tahtiin aisteja herätellen ja luonnosta inspiroituen. Retken aikana pysähdytään luontohyvinvointiharjoitusten, tietoisen läsnäolon, luovan liikkeen ja yhteisöllisen taiteen äärelle.Retken kohokohtana nähdään vuorovaikutteinen tanssiesitys Keskusteluja luonnon kanssa, jonka jälkeen osallistujat voivat halutessaan osallistua yhteisen luonnonmateriaaleista rakennetun mandalan luomiseen.

Retken ohjaavat luonto-​opas Gabriel Sydänvirta ja taiteilija ElinMaria Sydänvirta, joilla on pitkä kokemus luonto-​, taide-​ ja hyvinvointitoiminnan ohjaamisesta eri-​ikäisille osallistujille.

Svalan i vattnet - Veden pääskynen.

Veden pääskynen - Svalan i vattnet

Esityksen ovat luoneet ElinMaria Sydänvirta, Lotta Wiberg ja Marianne Maans.

Taianomainen tarina pääskysistä, vuodenajoista ja meren ihmeellisistä asukkaista. Kerrotaan, että pääskyset muuttivat talveksi merenpohjaan, sillä ennen vanhaan ei uskottu niin pienten lintujen jaksavan lentää etelään…

Tanssin, musiikin ja nukketeatterin keinoin kudotaan vuoropuhelu yleisön kanssa, ja katsojat kutsutaan myös mukaan luomaan esitystä yksinkertaisten ja hauskojen tehtävien avulla. Ohjelma sovelletaan erikseen yleisön iän mukaan, ja sen tavoitteena on luoda yhteisöllisyyttä ja iloa.

Vuonna 2026 kierrämme kouluissa, päiväkodeissa ja ikääntyneiden asumispalveluissa Paraisten kaupungissa ja Kemiönsaarella sekä esiinnyimme Åbo Svenska Teaterissa.

En magisk berättelse om svalor, årstider och havets förunderliga invånare. Det berättas att svalorna om vintern flyttade till havets botten, då man inte trodde att så små fåglar orkade flyga söderut…

Med dans, musik och dockteater vävs samman en dialog med publiken, som också bjuds in till att vara medskapande med enkla och roliga uppgifter. Programmet anpassas särskilt enligt publikens ålder och vill skapa gemenskap och glädje.

2026 turnerar vi i skolor, daghem och äldreboende i Pargas Stad och Kimitoö samt höll föreställningar på Åbo Svenska Teater.

Gardening is cool and one of the most concrete things we can do to make a change. Always local, organic, sustainable, and vegan. If there is a piece of land, we can always pour our love and dirty hands into making magic. Nature is the magic, respect!

Did you know that both ElinMaria and Gabriel has a longtime +20yrs background in gardening and veganism? We both been cultivating food for whole year-round use several times. ElinMaria did 1 year education in selfsustainable living and permaculture in ! Gabriel is educated in permaculture in Nicaragua and has farming all over the world and planting trees both in India and Haiti. We love plants!

Contact Improvisation – Navigating backspace, CI & the spine – Workshop Umeå

Saturday, October 3 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Open jam from 7:00 PM)

Sunday, October 4 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

In this workshop, we will explore possibilities for orienting ourselves in different directions and initiating movement with the back of the body (our "backspace"). We will playfully and meticulously explore the different parts and fundamental movements of the spine, both individually and with each other. By cultivating awareness around the articulation and centering of the spine, we build a strong foundation to gently familiarize ourselves with navigating backward and being upside down.

Through Contact Improvisation (CI), we practice choice-making—both in spatial composition and in relation to one another. CI develops skills in giving and receiving impulses, timing, rhythm, and musicality, while awakening curiosity about the unknown. The workshop is infused with exercises in improvisation scores and instant composition (choreographing while dancing).

TARGET GROUP

This workshop is aimed at those who have experience with Contact Improvisation (CI) and the "jam" format, and who are curious about their own movement process. It is also suitable for professional dancers and performing artists who want to deepen their improvisation practice.

ABOUT ELINMARIA

ElinMaria Sydänvirta is active as a dance artist, yoga teacher, and filmmaker. She has taught CI regularly since 2009, including in Umeå, and is now based in Finland. ElinMaria is driven by a curiosity about how we create the conditions for relationship and authenticity in our movement and with one another, where consensus and dialogue form the cornerstones. She has extensive experience working site-specifically, inclusively, and within community dance.
