The potential in the Finnish creative community is unlimited.

I have worked for the past 10 years to convince traditional clientele about the power of creative game solutions with Psyon Games

I have been working for the past 5 years with Peliosuuskunta Expa (Expa Game Business Co-operative) to build a strong games ecosystem in Central Finland.

And I've worked for the past 7 years to establish myself as a unique business-savvy science literate creative professional as Wanda O Rly.

Many times on this journey I've felt lonely. Despite having the irreplaceable support of my teams, it often feels like the social change we are trying to push is just so slow. But here at ODDfest I am with my kin and I see that we are not fighting alone.

The amount of great openings, inspiring people, valuable discussions, mutual admiration and validation I've experienced in the past 2 days is simply amazing.

Ronny Eriksson, Aki Pöntinen, Ukko-Pekka Itäpelto and the entire ODD team, you have built something truly special here and I'm forever thankful.

Tonight I'm gonna rock the stage at Tavastia once more - and I'm gonna give it my all! Hope to see you all there!

Do you know that feeling when your friends' band from your teenage years and early adulthood drop a new album after some 14 years - and it pierces you like a beautiful memory?

Your blood rushes as the drums roll with relentless energy, and you get goose pumps from the beautiful melodies that float on top of it, and despite all the distance and time passed, the lyrics reveal your hearts are still aligned.

I tend to think I was a different person back then but the roots one grows with teenage music are for life.

What an utterly striking expression of the human spirit this album is. I'm so proud and in total awe of the purity of it. You know art is great when it catches you off guard with its raw honesty. And that's exactly what this album did to me.

Despite not having pursued arts over my career, I remain artistic at heart and Wanda is my channel to whatever I wish to express. This music surfaced something I haven't been able to channel before. A teenage crisis I never got to experience perhaps.

Roughly a month ago my world was turned upsidedown by this wonderful tiny human being. I'm back to work again but I will say my perspective and priorities have changed forever, so thanks for your patience regarding any DMs and such.

Parenthood is both tougher and easier than I could've imagined. Tougher in the sense that there seems to be no limit to the amount of times I have to take a deep breath to reset my patience, wash a dirty bottom, wake up at night, cancel other plans and rearrange everything in my baby's favor. Easier in the sense how obvious the choice to do so is.

Perhaps most importantly, my baby needs me in full health and present in the moment. Thus choosing my own peace of mind over another hustle or a longshot opportunity is the new normal.

Luckily, juggling between worlds and various stakeholder expectations has been a part of my expertise for 10 years now. Adding one more world to the equation is not that difficult after all.

On Tuesday I was really feeling myself and it shows.

I played around with my phone camera taking mirror selfies with the 1x and 2x zoom. To my understanding both modes use the same main camera apparatus (52MP 1/1.35" IMX 888) but the two modes produce very different types of images.

In the first 4 dual images of this post, the left half is with the 2x zoom and the right half with the 1x zoom. The last image is 2x zoom on both sides (I guess I liked it more).

The 2x zoom photos seem warmer and softer with less contrast and more color saturation. The 1x zoom photos have a colder light, stronger highlights and shadows and less color intensity.

The lights and colors of all images are unedited. The photos have been only cropped and resized to match each other.

The software running the hardware makes quite a difference! Although the main thing here is probably hidden in what was cropped: the 1x zoom photos balance my light and color profile against a much wider ambient lighting with bright ceiling lights and shadowy corners. The 2x zoom only captured my immediate surroundings.

A lot of would-be technical blabber to justify 10 selfies in a single post. But I'm not gonna lie - I absolutely love the way I look 💋
