Today's finally the day we'll cool off.
Baloo was a great tentmate, and then we set off. We followed cairn after cairn, up and down cliffsides. And then we found it, the coldest place a Samoyed could find in the Nordic summer.

The wind blew in her fur and a cold fog came up off the Arctic Ocean. Baloo was content. Today she was the northernmost, coolest dog in Europe. After that, she could enjoy a chewstick with good conscience and take the best nap ever.

Operation (Almost) Ultima Thule complete.

That's weird, it's midnight and both Trey and the sun are still up... Starting to cool off a little too.

I don't think we're in Ostrobothnia anymore.

Baloo told me that she likes waterfalls. She cannot bring it home.

It's a bit cooler here, but the beast is still warm! We better keep going. Nice thunderstorms though!

We made it to our first stop! Beautiful Gunnarsbyn in Northern Sweden. Where Baloo and I got to stay with the impressive and their pack of Alaskan huskies. Baloo fit right in with the crew of Arctic sled pullers, while I got to meet some of their new team members. Baloo still thinks it's too warm here, so looks like tomorrow we'll be heading northward! Baloo's opinion on air conditioning? Positive.
