Known as “The White City of the North,” Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe celebrated for its snow-covered landscapes, pristine lakes, and long winter season. The nickname reflects the country's white winter scenery, with snow covering much of the land for several months each year. Finland is home to more than 188,000 lakes , and nearly 75% of its land is covered by forests, making it one of the greenest and cleanest countries in the world. It is also famous for the Northern Lights, the Midnight Sun, and Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, located within the Arctic Circle.

Finland gained independence from Russia on 6 December 1917 after centuries of Swedish and Russian rule. Today, it is recognized as one of the world's most developed nations, with outstanding achievements in education, innovation, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. The capital, Helsinki, is renowned for its modern architecture and high standard of living. Finland consistently ranks among the happiest and least corrupt countries in the world, making it a global model of good governance and social welfare.

Jordan's history dates back to around 9000 BCE, making it one of the world's oldest inhabited regions. During the Iron Age ( 1200-539 BCE), the Kingdom of the Ammonites, Moabites, and Edomites flourished there. The region later came under the rule of the Persians ( 539 BCE), Alexandar the Great ( 332 BCE), and the Romans (63 BCE). Following the Muslim conquest in 636 CE, Jordan became part of the Islamic Caliphate , while the Ummayad's built many famous castles.

Jordan remained under Ottoman Rule from 1516 to 1918 before becoming the Emirate of Transjordan in 1921 under British administration. It gained independence on 25 May 1946 as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with King Abdullah Iaa the first monarch. Since then, Jordan has become one of the Middle East's most stable countries despite regional conflicts. Today, it is renowned for its historical treasures, especially Petra, and for its important diplomatic role in the Arab World.

Istanbul is one of the world’s most oldest and historically significant cities. Founded as Byzantium by Greek settlers around 657 BCE. It occupied a strategic position on Bosphorous Strait, linking Europe and Asia. In 330 CE Roman Emperor Constantine the Great renamed it Constantinople and made it the capital of Roman Empire. Following the division of the Empire, it became the capital of the Byzantine Empire. flourishing for more than a thousand years as a centre of Christainity. trade, learning and magnificent architecture including the iconic Hagia Sophia.
In 1453, Sultan Mehmed II conquered Constantinople marking the wnd of the Byzantine Empire and the beginning of the Ottoman rule. The city became the capital of the Ottoman Empire and developed into one of the World’s leading political, cultural and commercial centres. After the establishment of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, the Capital was moved to Ankara, while the city was officially renamed Istanbul in 1930. Today, Istanbul remains Turkey’s largest city and its cultural and economic hub, renowned for its rich heritage, vibrant markets stunning land and unique position as the only major city that spans both Europe and Asia. 🇹🇷 🇹🇷
