New courses in 2024!

Once again we've had to say our goodbyes to a wonderful group of European teachers that came together for a week to share ideas, learn about the Finnish education & culture and to connect with like minded people 😊

It is a gift to be able to reflect together on the world that is changing fast and and what all of us as individual teachers/teacher educators/principals and other school staff can do in order to adjust to the changes and keep motivating our students 💚

Happy month of May to you all!

This is some feedback from our amazing course participants:

⭐ Nice to meet people from others countries and discuss important school related topics.

⭐ Knowledge, kindness, competence, no stress.

⭐ Interesting and nice. Learned a lot! 😊

⭐ The course was very enriching, interactive and interesting. Congratulations for everything.

⭐ At the beginnig I was afraid because I don't speak English well, but I felt like I was very well supported by the instructors and I felt good and learn so much.

⭐ Throughout the whole course I felt really welcomed by the very warm and professional trainers. I was looking forward to learning and seeing how the Finnish education system works. Having the chance to visit schools and meet students and teachers was great!

Lovely Andrea from Czech Republic presenting her school and region in our July 2022 EduFair 🇨🇿

At Andrea's show-and-tell booth we became familiar with how things work at her school and also had the opportunity to try local delicacies.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful things with us!

We would like to remind everyone enrolled in EduBorealis courses or considering doing so that it is completely safe for you to travel to Finland.

The Goverment of Finland writes the following on their website:

"Finland is well prepared for different kinds of crises and incidents. The Government and the authorities are monitoring the current situation and assessing how it will evolve. Finland is not currently under threat.

The basic level of security of supply in Finland is good, and the Russian invasion in Ukraine has no immediate impact on security of supply. Finland is less dependent on energy produced in Russia than many countries in Central and Southern Europe. Finland’s food supply largely comes from domestic raw materials. The National Emergency Supply Agency and businesses critical for security of supply monitor the situation regularly and systematically."

Back in February we hosted a fantastic group of 23 teachers from Portugal, Spain, Poland, France, Germany, Belgium and Croatia. This week we received amazing feedback from our course participants from Croatia and we are happy to be able to share it with all of you today. Special thank you to Jelena....
