The training program should always adapt to the athlete, not the other way around. Load, intensity, complexity and focus shift with the season, injury status, game calendar, travel and stage of development. Because your readiness, and physical and mental load is constantly shifting. â¨
Strength, skill, coordination and speed shouldnât be treated as separate boxes. They need to be trained as one system, combining movement patterns and directions, muscle actions and sport skills directly into strength and conditioning. Thatâs how training actually transfers into real performance. â¨
Basics first. Then progressive complexity. More specific exercises can be justified when they truly support the athleteâs goal, but only after the fundamentals are solid.
â¨No templates. No fixed paths. Coaching should adapt to your body, your life and your sport. Sometimes itâs about rebuilding, forward on the injuryâs terms. Sometimes itâs about pushing performance.â¨â¨Does your training really adapt to where you are right now? Thatâs where real performance begins.

How sport-specific should your off-season or supplementary training really be? đ¤â¨
The world of sports is diverse: every sport places different demands on technique, movement, and skill. In some sports, style matters. In others, only the end result counts. Thatâs where sport analysis and functional training come in, understanding how the requirements of your sport meet the way the human body naturally moves.â¨
In the clips the athletes walks through movement patterns that develop key physical and skill-based qualities essential for performance. Even if a drill looks sport-specific, the reasons behind it are athletic: body control, strength, coordination, rhythm, and the ability to repeat quality movement. These elements appear across almost every sport.â¨
Itâs important to understand how your sportâs demands and physical training work together. You move in certain ways because of your sport, and you need specific qualities to perform at your best. Donât forget what youâre training for, but also remember that the human body moves the way itâs built to move, no matter the sport.

Last week, trail runner .erkkila conquered Kullamannen by UTMBÂŽ (108 km | 1088 m+) in Swedenâs Kullaberg, taking the victory and setting a new course record with a time of 9:12:02! đĽđ¤Ż
What a way to close the season. Congratulations, Anna-Stiina, a phenomenal performance and a well-deserved win. đĽ
â°ď¸ The Kullamannen 100 km starts in HĂśganäs with a flat section before heading into Kullaberg. With just over 1000 m of elevation, itâs a fast course, but the technical trails, rocky terrain, and exposed coastline make it demanding from start to finish.
