🥳 Swap party of households items, now during Repair Thursday workshops! ♻️

Now you can come to donate and pick up (aka swap) any household items! Since we are all about repairs we also accept items that need some fixing. In spirit of circularity, our community will share the joy of learning how to bring those items back to their usable state ⚒️♻️

If you don't have anything to donate, but your economical situation would need some support, please come and see, if we can offer you anything, completely free of charge.

On the other hand, if you don't have need for anything new and you have lots to donate, please feel free to do so! We are here to spread love via circular economy and that requires donations of kind members of society 🫶🏻

📍 To donate, swap, pick up items from us, please come on any Thursday that the workshop is held, between 16-19 to the Museum of Technology, Viikintie 1D in Helsinki.

Throwback to Dome Upcycling Design Festival! ✨

Wow. That was an amazingly successful event! The work Isabella Haas accomplished and delivered was on a different level! Even the temporary rain didn't scare people away! 😍

Repair Thursday with Upstitch Studio's tent was busy all the time! We have now so many more participants coming to the museum for the workshop! 🥰 I can't be happier! We promoted the workshop, did plenty of repairs and crafting and met so many amazing people ✨🙏🏻

🎪 Repair Thursday with Upstitch Studio's tent will be there on both days Sat-Sun, 5-6.09 at Kansalaistori in Helsinki.

The workshops are held at 12-14 and 15-17!






♻️ During the festival you'll get to know Kasia of Upstitch Studio & Repair Thursday project, talk all about and do some simple repairs of all kinds!

👩🏻‍🔧 Welcome to bring some items that need fixing and together with Kasia you can look at the case, discuss possible repairs options and if materials allow (tools and materials limited!), do the repair on place under her guidance.

ℹ️ Due to safety reasons the workshop is designated only for seniors and adults.

🎪 Arabian Katufestivaali and Repair Thursday's extra workshop on Saturday 16th, 12-16! Same place as always (Tekniikan museo - työpaja) ♻️


🪴 REPAIR THURSDAY´S SPECIAL GARDENING POTS WORKSHOP (Saturday 16th May)

Bring a broken or worn-out flower pot and give it new life! In this Repair Thursday workshop you can try creative repair techniques like kintsugi-inspired fixing, epoxy glue, air-dry clay and decoupage.
You can also upcycle pots from workshop materials.
Held in English at the Museum of Technology.

👩🏻‍🎓 If you're a regular participant and want to work on your project, you are welcome to do so as well 🤗
