VITALY ERMOLAEV 1985-2022
Vitaly Ermolaev, Hokutoryu coach of the city of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, has passed at the age of 36. In the middle of the war, he got infected with the coronavirus and since there was no time or possibility to be sick, let alone for treatment, he passed away in the sequel of the virus. Vitaly was a good and well-known coach in his area, whose students, especially the juniors, has brought a lot of medals.
The plan was, that he and some other Hokutoryu coaches in the Dnepropetrovsk area would visit our seminar at Pajulahti in June. What will the situation be like in June, will anyone be able to come and will there be any coaches left?
Even though Vitaly did not perish in a battle, he was a victim of the war of aggression that Putin started. In other circumstances, he would have been able to get treatment and likely survive.
May he rest in peace!
