Mantracking 1

On 29–30 August, we had the privilege of hosting Kyt Lyn Walken of The Way Of Tracking in Finland for a two-day Mantracking 1 course.

The course combined theory and practical field exercises, covering the fundamentals of human tracking, track interpretation, reading movement and gait, approaching and following tracklines, SAR applications, tactical tracking and working as a tracking team.

A great group of students, challenging Finnish terrain and two intensive days in the field. Most importantly, plenty of eyes opened to how much information can be found in the smallest details.

Thank you to everyone who attended — and a special thank you to Kyt for sharing her knowledge and experience with us.

More tracking to come.

Yksi meidän suurimmista mentoreista, Monte Gould, saapuu Suomeen kouluttamaan DMR-kurssia toukokuussa.
