FuN LeARninG - Fun READing

We encourage students to underline each word once they read them. They can draw symbols or pictures on the words that they don’t understand. This will help them to recognise and understand the words easily!

After they read the story, students recalled the story through drawing. We could evaluate students’ understanding of the story from this activity.

“Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.”

Students needed to talk about their family members. Then, they learnt to create their own family trees. Surprisingly, they have improved their communication skill through this activity. They have become more confident in speaking English. Thumbs up!

“Yes, this is the word!” 😁
During revision session, students were playing hopscotch. They needed to listen carefully to the phonics sounds given and able to choose the words from each box. They really enjoyed this game and they could recall back what they have learnt. Well done!!

ALL ABOUT ME**
Students have learnt personal pronouns through this activity. They were able to label the pronouns based on the characters given to them. They enjoyed the discussion session on this topic too!

In Perrie Reading, the students are being assessed through Formative assessment during the learning process in order to design and modify teaching and learning activities to improve their learning goals.
