Think Global, Act Local! HAAGA-HELIA organizes a GOING GLOBAL event, which raises awareness about international development and volunteerism.
With “think global - act local” mentality, you can do a lot of good with next to no effort. The event also focuses on promoting social and global responsibility. On the background of this GOING GLOBAL event are the European Year of Volunteering, and the Yle annual Red Nose Day campaign. Going Global Participants and Sponsors =)
The panel will be having an interesting discussion about the themes of the event. What is the relevance of global responsibility, how is it an integral part of internationalization and do Finns care? – are just a few of the questions to be discussed. HAAGA-HELIA staff representative on the panel will be Ms Tarja Koskinen-Nisula from R&D department. The panel will also have a student representative from Helga, as well as people from JEF Finland, LiiKe ry, Unicef and Sadankomitea. Come, listen and ask a challenging question or two!
