Once again, another edition of Other/Cinema comes to a close. We have much to celebrate and to be grateful for! Special thanks to Susanna Helke and the Department of Film, Television and Scenography of Aalto University.

From September 2018 till May 2019, we had the honor to screen a great selection of films that wouldn't otherwise be seen in Helsinki.

Audiences have demonstrated the relevance of having discussions that test and challenge current knowledges and world views. Thank you for all you audience insightful and interesting talks!

We had a high caliber guests speakers participation. They brilliantly shared different points of view about cinema as a vehicle to multiple realities. Thank you:
Jay Albaos, Alejandro Pedregal, Léo Custódio, Leandro Lefa, Elina Hartikainen, Marja Peltola, Martta Tuomaala, Babel Hajjar, Andre Demony, Liban Sheikh, Petter Morottaja & Rita Silvia Barrera Virhuez
