What should you keep in mind when scaling your innovation? 🚀

Larry Cooley, President Emeritus and Senior Advisor at Management Systems International, brings 25 years of scaling expertise.

In a workshop conducted as part of our Spotlight on AI for Career Readiness with Daydream Believers, Kinia, and Descodeuses, Larry Cooley shared some tidbits of wisdom:

1) Scope the Problem - Figure out the size of the problem and consider whether you can scale the size of the solution to match the size of the problem without unduly impacting its effectiveness.

2) Get People to Fall in Love with the Problem - You have to get people to fall in love with the problem before they can embrace a solution.

3) Scale the Solution not the Organization - Is your aim to scale the organization or the solution? Think about what your aims for scaling are and how that contributes to solving your target problem.

4) Aim for Systems Change - If you truly want to reach a significant scale, you have to eventually start considering your potential to impact change at the systems level

We are currently looking for partners to support the next cohort of the HundrED Youth Ambassador Programme!

Give young people the tools, network, and confidence to act, and you start to see communities change in just a matter of months.

“I realised concern wasn’t enough, I needed to act”, says a young founder who went on to build a project supporting teenage mothers to stay in education.

A 3-month online programme offers young people aged 13–19 the opportunity to ideate, plan and build a social impact project of their own aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2023, the HundrED Youth Ambassador programme has reached over 1,800 young people across 139 countries. More than 60% of them go on to plan and launch their own social impact projects.

The next cohort is already lining up, and we are looking for partners to help fund it. If your organisation invests in youth, education, or global equity, here’s a proven model with tangible outcomes and global reach.
