We are currently looking for partners to support the next cohort of the HundrED Youth Ambassador Programme!
Give young people the tools, network, and confidence to act, and you start to see communities change in just a matter of months.
“I realised concern wasn’t enough, I needed to act”, says a young founder who went on to build a project supporting teenage mothers to stay in education.
A 3-month online programme offers young people aged 13–19 the opportunity to ideate, plan and build a social impact project of their own aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2023, the HundrED Youth Ambassador programme has reached over 1,800 young people across 139 countries. More than 60% of them go on to plan and launch their own social impact projects.
The next cohort is already lining up, and we are looking for partners to help fund it. If your organisation invests in youth, education, or global equity, here’s a proven model with tangible outcomes and global reach.

"Being selected in the HundrED Global Collection is incredibly meaningful for us. At Milaan, we’ve spent years working alongside girls in rural communities who are often overlooked in conversations about innovation and leadership. This recognition tells those girls, and us, that their leadership matters, their voices matter, and the change they are creating is globally relevant. It also reinforces our belief that solutions to challenges like gender inequality and education access already exist within communities themselves. The Girl Icon Program is built on that idea, and HundrED has helped bring this community-rooted approach into a global spotlight.
What stands out most is the sense of shared purpose. We’ve had opportunities to engage with innovators from very different contexts, yet the challenges and aspirations we discuss feel strikingly similar. For our team, it has been inspiring to exchange ideas on youth leadership, community engagement, and scaling impact while staying grounded in local realities. And for the girls we work with, knowing that their journeys are being seen and valued beyond their villages is powerful." - Dhirendra Pratap Singh, Milaan Foundation

🌍 HundrED’s latest Spotlight on Education for Societal Change, in collaboration with VVOB - education for development, identified 15 education solutions originating from the Global South.
A specific aim of this Spotlight was to highlight innovative educational solutions and practices that centre grassroots approaches to local challenges.
“What stands out in these solutions is of course their impact in local contexts but also their relevance globally. They challenge us to rethink how education can drive societal change, including in the Global North. These initiatives show what becomes possible when we no longer see these communities merely as beneficiaries, but as drivers of change.” - Inge Vandevyvere, Global Strategic Education Advisor, VVOB.

"Recognition by HundrED has been a powerful validation of the work, not just of our team, but more importantly, of our implementing partners. The Philippine Department of Education and other partners have been highly supportive of innovative ways to improve learning outcomes. Our teachers and schools, in particular, have shown remarkable dedication in reaching their students and providing supplementary lessons through mEducation. The recognition is a meaningful bonus to top the tangible gains we see among students participating in the program. Being selected for the HundrED Global Collection 2026 also affirms that innovative, scalable solutions can use simple and existing tools. Delivering tutorials through phone calls demonstrates how accessible technology can be leveraged without losing the personal connection with the teachers, parents, and students. For our team at Innovations for Poverty Action, as well as our partner educators and communities, this is a shared milestone that strengthens our commitment to evidence-based approaches. It motivates us to continue refining and expanding mEducation so that more children, especially those facing the greatest barriers, can access quality foundational learning." - Aftab Opel, Country Director, Innovations for Poverty Action

"Recognition by HundrED has been both an affirmation and a responsibility for us. It affirmed that helping students move from observation to insight to real-world action is not just locally meaningful — it is globally necessary. In a world driven by speed and automation, deep observation may seem outdated. Yet it is exactly this ability that allows students to see possibilities others miss, and to turn the world itself into a source of ideas, questions, and solutions. Being recognized by HundrED strengthens our conviction to help students become more observant, more curious, and more capable of turning curiosity into creativity and action. It has also challenged us to be more rigorous in how we design learning experiences through the Challenge. Most importantly, it has pushed us to think beyond any single program and toward building a global learning ecosystem — one where the know-how of thinking, designing, and acting can live inside schools, and where more young people grow not only in capability, but in their sense of responsibility to the world." - Maggie Lin, CEO, Twin Oaks 雙橡教育
