Meet our Amazing teacher Taina Alakulppi

⚜️Taina will share her Wisdom in the Five element theory & Facial Analysis with Chinese medicine.

Taina Alakulppi is a respected practitioner and educator of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), based in Helsinki, Finland. As the co-founder of the Academy of Chinese Medicine in Helsinki, she played a pivotal role in shaping TCM education in Finland up until 2024. Currently, her teaching focuses on providing advanced specialization training for professional acupuncturists.

In her clinical practice, Taina specializes in women’s health and cosmetic treatment techniques. Her expertise is grounded in extensive study and hands-on experience, including postgraduate training at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma from a joint program between Middlesex University and the Northern College of Acupuncture in the UK, and is a licensed massage therapist.

Taina has held numerous leadership roles in the TCM community, including serving as Chairwoman of Finnacu Ry, board member of Skill Ry, and Secretary of the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association (ETCMA).

In addition to her work in TCM, she is an aspiring homeopath, currently completing her studies at the Academy of Transformational Homeopathy.

Taina is our TCM wizardess. She shares her healing wisdom on face analysis, the five elements and TCM to our homeopathy students.

Taina is editing the Shamanistic Remedies of the Arctic book as her thesis.

Meet our Master teacher Alize Timmerman

Alize will be sharing wisdom on Transition like ageing gracefully, the Sacred Feminine, the Gifts of the Mother.

Alize has been teaching at ATH for over 20 years & over 30 in Finland🌿

Alize Timmerman initially graduated as a research assistant in Biochemistry. In 1980 she graduated at the Academy of Naturopathy in Amsterdam with special emphasis on Nutrition, Astrology and Classical Homoeopathy. From ’84 until ’87 she completed the international teacher training courses of George Vithoulkas and Vassilis Ghegas in Greece and England.

Alize founded the Hahnemann Institute of the Netherlands in 1988. From the start the Institute attracted leading Homoeopaths to teach in Holland, so a long queue of colleagues was introduced to the Dutch Homoeopathic Scene. Among these were Rajan Sankaran, Jonathan Shore, Jeremy Sherr, Jane Cicchetti, Misha Norland and many others. Together with Misha, Alize started an international working group of teachers, coming together once a year for four days to discuss recent developments in Homoeopathy and Homoeopathic teaching. In Holland, the Hahnemann Institute is an established Institute, offering, in addition to the seminars, in-service courses and a Master class program including a one-year stage in the Homoeopathic Clinic in The Hague. Alize is the rare example of the combination of a great Homoeopath, a gifted teacher and an interested, attentive person.
