From your first days at ISH to this important milestone, it has been a privilege to watch you learn, grow, and find your place in the world.

As you graduate, remember that you leave with more than a diploma. You leave with memories, friendships, experiences, and a community that will always be cheering you on.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We wish you all the very best for the future.💙

The Human Body unit began with students working in small groups to trace life-sized outlines, sketching the placement of internal organs based on their prior knowledge. As the unit progressed, they used the reverse side of these posters to document their knowledge of the Skeletal, Circulatory, Respiratory, and Nervous systems. At the end of the unit, students researched individual inquiry questions and presented their findings to the class.

As part of their sports leadership unit, Grade 6 students designed their own games and organized our traditional May Sports Afternoon. The lower school students had a great time rotating through all the creative activity stations. Huge thanks to Grade 6 for putting together such a fun afternoon!

Our Early Years Bunnies group recently visited the Ateneum Museum, where students explored paintings and sculptures, colours and textures, and wondered about the stories behind the artworks.

Students were especially fascinated by Akseli Gallen-Kallela’s Kalevala-themed works and the stories connected to them. During the visit, the students also selected their own favourite artworks and sculptures they discovered throughout the museum.

It was a wonderful opportunity to experience Finnish art and culture through curiosity, observation and discussion.
